Webster's defines Infanticide as "the killing of an infant. It goes on to define Infant as "a child in the first period of life". These babies became "infants" the moment they are pulled out of their mother's womb and take their first breath. Most are born alive and then are stuffed in some dark corner to die cold and alone.
