Oath Keepers - Honoring Your Oath
How important is it, that those who take the oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States
Minuteman - Original Oath Keeper
against all enemies, foreign and domestic", to uphold and carry it out? Are these just words without meaning? Did those who have taken that oath really stop and think what they are committing themselves to? I hope so.

I know that there are many who take it very seriously. Then there are those who as soon as the words have left their lips, they seek the destruction of the very thing that they swore to defend.

From the President of the United States of America, to America's Armed Forces, to those who wish to become a naturalized citizen, all have taken an oath to "defend the Constitution". Why is that so important. If I have to tell you, then you are obviously not an American who values their history and honor.

Without The Constitution, America Is Not America

Our founding fathers laid their lives and liberty on the line to gain for this nation a freedom that would endure from generation to generation. But it is given to each generation to safeguard and defend that freedom so dearly won with the blood of our fathers.

We have a duty to this generation to defend the Constitution, which is the bedrock of our God-given liberties. In this time, the greatest threat to our liberties are not coming from a distant shore. No.

Greatest Threat To The Constitution

The greatest threat to our freedoms set forth in the Constitution is coming from the very body of elected and appointed officials who took an oath to defend it. But instead of defending it, they are party to tearing it apart, bit by bit.

The Enemies From Which We Must Defend The Constitution Are Those Who Swore To Uphold It. From the President down through Congress. They are doing the most damage to the Constitution in this hour. Men who give lip-service to the Constitution, but then turn and with their votes and their pens, work to shred it.

Oath For Armed Forces

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Oath For Naturalized Citizens

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

President's Oath of Office

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

It is important to notice that the oath places supporting and defending the Constitution ahead of any other person or office. The Armed Forces are to obey the President, as the Commander In Chief, ONLY AS HE FOLLOWS THE CONSTITUTION. If he drifts from constitutional parameters, it is the duty of the Armed Forces to disobey those orders. We must first and foremost support and defend the Constitution, for without it, we have no country, we have no freedoms, we are no longer America.

**10 Orders Oath Keepers Will Not Follow** Why? Because They Are Unconstitutional, That's Why!
