Oprah's Church - All Roads Lead To God.

I can only speak from a Biblical perspective, for that is what I know. From this viewpoint, the Truth which people are being led away from is the Truth as it is revealed in the Bible. That Truth is that Jesus of Nazareth is the Only Son of God and that He is God's Way of Salvation for man. He is the Only Way by which Man is permitted to approach God.

I realize this will come across as narrow-minded, bigoted or whatever you may want to call it. But that is what the Scriptures teach. We have the very words of Jesus Himself:

• John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
• John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Jesus claims for Himself, that He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. He is not A Way, He is The Way; he is not A Truth, he is The Truth; he is not A Light, he is The Light. The use of the definite article (the) before each noun (way, truth and life) demands a specific and exclusive application. It requires an exclusiveness that can only be applied to Jesus.

     HE IS THE WAY TO GOD - HE IS THE TRUTH OF GOD - HE IS THE LIFE OF GOD.

In the book of Acts, Peter tells the crowd who had gathered there,
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Now if you don't accept the Biblical Record as God's Truth Revealed, then I can understand why you would think that this is all a bunch. However, not accepting Truth can never negate the fact that it remains Truth. Back in the dark ages, when men believed that the earth was flat (and that the sun revolved around the earth, instead of the truth being the opposite), that belief did not change the fact the earth was in reality round, not flat. And so it is, that your unbelief does not remove the standard of truth. Truth has always been truth and will forever remain truth, regardless of the beliefs of man. As the Scriptures declare . . .

                         LET GOD BE TRUE AND EVERY MAN A LIAR.

Having said all this, let me get to the matter at hand. The propagation of the new age lies and mumbo-jumbo being perpetrated upon the masses through the mass media deception of Oprah and her last new age guru, Eckhart Tolle. Here are some images of the players:

Of course, you must decide for yourself who you are going to align yourself with. Are you willing to place your trust and confidence in a media mogul as your standard of truth and to show you the way of God? Or do you feel that this is too important of an issue to lay at the feet of a TV personality, WHO DOESN'T EVEN KNOW YOU EXIST. You might consider the fact that the Bible has been held as the Truth of God for thousands of years now. But you will have to make that decision on your own. Who will be your way of Salvation? Oprah? Yourself? Some other self-proclaimed messiah?

You might do well to investigate the claims of Jesus. It really is a very simple proposition. Either Jesus is exactly who he claims to be or he is not. If he is not, then you have nothing to worry about. Go on your merry way and live your life as you please, worship who and what you will. But if Jesus is who the Scriptures proclaim Him to be, well . . . I think you get the picture.

Of course, either way, you will have the chance to fully explain your philosophy/theology in the not too distant future, when you stand before the Judgment Throne of God. And the good news is, you'll get to explain how you didn't think that Jesus was God's way of salvation, directly to Jesus Himself. He will be the One sitting on the throne, judging your reasonings. But then you won't have a real excuse. You've been told. You've just read it here.
